Introduction
Welcome to Tamam’s Terms of Use. These Terms are important, so please read them carefully. By accessing and using our App, Tamam Portal, or any of our embedded services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you will not be able to use these services.
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, set out the rules governing our relationship with you in relation to the Tamam App, Portal, and embedded services (collectively referred to as "Services"). These Terms apply to all users, including end-users of the App, clients embedding Tamam into their websites or apps, and any visitors to these embedded services. These Terms are legally binding.
1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us
We are Tamam Ltd. (also referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”, and “Tamam”), a registered company in England and Wales with company number 16137813. Our registered office is at Mitchelgate, Kirkby Lonsdale, Lancashire, LA6 2BE, England.

2. Scope of Services
Tamam Apps
The Tamam App allows users to have access to a number of functions including e-commerce, food and grocery delivery, hotel booking, taxi riding, car rental and pharmaceutical delivery. It also allows users to create and engage in contextual conversations (in partnership with Chatloop) within its community, anywhere on the internet. These are called “Loops”. Loops may be public or private, depending on the user's preference. Tamam also provides a courier and vendor application.
Tamam Portal
The Tamam Portal is a web-based platform where clients can manage their embedded Tamam services, including setting up digital stores, vendor management, advertisement management, moderating User-Generated Content (UGC), viewing analytics, and customising the Tamam experience on their websites. Tamam also provides a portal for vendors and has a web-based application for both customers and businesses.
Embedded Services
Tamam's services may be embedded into client websites and apps, allowing users to interact with UGC and other features provided by Tamam across different platforms.
3. Who May Use Tamam Services
To use Tamam Services, users and clients must meet the following criteria:
- Agree to Comply with the Terms: You must agree to these Terms.
- Age Requirement for Users: Users of the Tamam App must be over 18 years and 1 month old or a legal entity recognised by law.
- Legal Compliance: You must not be barred from using the Services under law or by us.
Clients embedding Tamam services into their websites must ensure that their use complies with these Terms and any applicable laws, including those related to data protection and UGC.
4. User Responsibilities Regarding UGC
Users and clients are responsible for all content created, posted, or managed through Tamam Services. This includes content generated through the Tamam App, Portal, and embedded services.

Illegal Activity | Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activities, including the sale of illegal goods or services, drug use, or human trafficking. |
Privacy Violations | Content that discloses private information without consent, including personal addresses, phone numbers, or other sensitive details. |
Harassment and Bullying | Content that targets individuals or groups with the intent to harass, bully, or intimidate, including threats of violence or coordinated attacks. |
Intellectual Property Violations | Content that infringes upon copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights, including sharing content without proper authorisation. |
Terrorism and Violent Extremism | Content that promotes or glorifies terrorism, violent extremism, or any form of radicalisation. |
Child Exploitation | Any content involving the exploitation of children, including child sexual abuse material, grooming, or any other form of child endangerment. |
Content Moderation
- Automated Tools and Human Review: We may use a combination of automated tools and human moderators to review content for compliance with these guidelines.
- Client Responsibilities: Clients embedding Tamam are responsible for managing content on their websites or apps, and reporting any malicious content in compliance with Tamam’s content guidelines.
- Appeal Process: Users and clients have the right to appeal content removal or account suspension decisions through the App’s or Portal’s support system.
User and Client Rights Over Content
- Editing and Deletion: Users can edit or delete their content at any time through the App or embedded services. Clients can manage UGC via the Tamam Portal.
- Content Licensing: By posting content, users grant Tamam and its clients a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, copy, and distribute the content. This licence can be revoked by deleting the content.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
Data Usage Transparency
We are committed to transparency in how we collect, store, and use your data, particularly data generated through UGC. We adhere to GDPR and data protection best practices.

We may share your data with third-party service providers to support App and Portal operations, as outlined in our Privacy Policy. This includes services related to embedding Tamam into client websites and apps.
Form Submit Buttons
By providing your personal information and clicking; 'Submit', 'Preview Now', or any other buttons that submit your personal information to us on on our site, you are consenting to receive marketing communications, and you agree that Tamam Ltd. may use your information to contact you with newsletters, promotional offers, and other marketing materials. You can opt out of receiving these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link provided in our emails or by contacting us directly. 6. Embedding Tamam Services
Client Responsibilities
Clients embedding Tamam services into their websites must ensure that their use complies with these Terms and relevant laws. Clients are responsible for:
- Managing and Moderating UGC: Clients must manage and moderate UGC through the Tamam Portal, ensuring compliance with Tamam’s content guidelines.
- User Notifications: Clients must inform their users of the data collection practices and content guidelines associated with Tamam services.
- Security Compliance: Clients must implement appropriate security measures to protect user data and content shared through embedded Tamam services.
User Interaction with Embedded Services
Users interacting with Tamam services embedded into client websites are bound by these Terms. Their interactions may involve data collection, which will be managed according to Tamam’s Privacy Policy and the client’s privacy practices.

When using embedded Tamam services, the following data may be collected:

7. Security and Liability Provisions
Security Measures

Client Security Responsibilities
Clients must also ensure that their platforms implement strong security practices, particularly in relation to the Tamam Portal and embedded services.
Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and clients promptly, in line with GDPR requirements. Notifications will include steps to mitigate damage and advice on protecting personal data.
Limitation of Liability
Tamam’s liability is limited as follows:
- No Liability for Third-Party Content: We are not liable for content hosted on third-party websites where Tamam is embedded.
- Maximum Liability: Our total liability is limited to £100, except for any liability that cannot be legally excluded.
8. Subscriptions
Free and Paid Versions
Tamam offers both free, commission and subscription versions. The paid subscription provides additional features and benefits, as outlined on our website.
Subscription Management
Subscriptions are managed through the Tamam Portal. You are responsible for managing your subscription, including any renewals or cancellations.
Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. You can disable auto-renewal through your Tamam Portal.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your subscription, you must do so through the Tamam Portal giving 30 days notice.
Please note that cancellation may not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period, but you will continue to have access to the paid features until the end of the billing cycle.
9. Deactivating Your Account
Deactivation Process
If you no longer wish to use the Tamam Services, you can deactivate your account through the following steps:
- App Users: Navigate to Profile Icon > Settings > Your Account > Deactivate Account.
- Portal Users: Contact support via the Tamam Portal for assistance with deactivation.
Data Retention After Deactivation
Upon deactivation, your data will be retained according to our Data Retention Policy. You can request full data deletion by contacting our support team.
Reactivation
To reactivate your account, you will need to re-register and, if applicable, resubscribe to the paid version.
10. Ending Your Access to the Services
We may end your access to the Services if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. In such cases:
- Notification: We will use reasonable efforts to notify you before terminating your access.
- Obligations Upon Termination: You must stop using the Services and delete or remove the App from all devices.
11. Dispute Resolution
Mediation and Arbitration
We encourage resolving disputes amicably through mediation. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be subject to arbitration.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
UGC Licensing
By posting content, users grant Tamam and its clients a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, and distribute their content. This license can be revoked by deleting the content.
IP Protection
All intellectual property rights in the Tamam Services belong to Tamam or its licensors. Clients and users must not use Tamam Services in a way that infringes these rights or those of any third party.
